Bomet County, Kenya Partners with Overcome Health to Pioneer AI-Driven Smart Healthcare

Governor Barchok Meets Overcome Health AI-Innovation Team on Advancing Smart Healthcare Access in Bomet County

Bomet Governor H.E. Prof. Hillary Barchok today held a consultative meeting with representatives from Overcome Health AI-Innovation. They are developers of the world’s first offline, sovereign and AI-native health platform.

The discussion centered on exploring potential collaborations to enhance digital health access and strengthen primary health delivery across Bomet County.

The Overcome Health AI platform operates entirely offline while providing real-time, biometric-driven health insights through wearable technology and edge-based artificial intelligence.

Its design allows health workers to detect and respond to medical events such as falls, diabetic crises, cardiac risks, and other critical health indicators without the need for internet connectivity.

Governor Barchok praised the innovation as a transformative response to healthcare challenges, especially in areas with limited connectivity and workforce shortages.

The partnership aligns with Bomet County’s agenda to integrate smart technologies into preventive and community health systems, ensuring equitable and quality healthcare for all residents.

This engagement marks the beginning of strategic discussions toward piloting cutting-edge, privacy-first and cost-effective health solutions that bridge the gap between underserved populations and modern medical care.
